In 2016 I entered the Australasian Young Designer Wool Awards with my military inspired range, Militis Vi. I won first place in the Fantasy and Theatrics category.
Militis Vi, for the most part, was inspired by Yacht Club's Propeller Knight, from the game Shovel Knight. I wanted to create something based in costume rather than fashion to fit the category, focusing on strange shapes and bold detailing. Both pieces feature hand-made piping and statement buttons, with the jacket adorned in gold chains.
